Ingredients
- ¾ Cup butter or margarine
- 1 Cup tightly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 ½ Cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ Cups old-fashioned oatmeal
- 12 oz. Raspberry-Cranberry Jam ***
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy, add vanilla extract. Mix dry ingredients then add to butter/sugar mixture and mix well. Press half of the crumbs into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Spread with jam, crumble remaining mixture on top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool, then cut into bars.
***Can be made with any cooked jam.
